At the far end of Ralph Bice lake in Algonquin there is a nice portage landing with a sandy beach, we had lunch here as Travis slept in the canoe and we enjoyed the silence and the calm water as a loon fished near by....

We took our friends to Grundy Lake Provincial Park and took them through a beaver pathway to another lake, we had them hopping beaver dams and dragging canoes through knee deep mud. Everyone came out laughing and have a great story....
