27 Aug Favorite Spot
This has been my favorite spot in Algonquin – Western Uplands. I have seen woodcocks dance, heard grouse drum and saw whet owls hoot, I have seen stars like no where else on earth, I have seen the Northern lights more than once. I have called and heard wolves, seen beaver. I have never been to Algonquin without at least one stop at the Western Uplands. I have spent many an hour standing on the bridge over the river.
