Okay, I know aluminum canoes don’t get repaired like some other types but I had to use this canoe- it’s got history. 46 years old – bought by my parents when they got married. It was this canoe that: taught me to paddle (along with my brothers), went on my first trip, my family could all fit in it for epic trips, hours were spent ‘cleaning’ it -aka playing in the water, swamping, flipping it etc etc. This canoe is part of my family. Every scratch was earned – usually resulting in a great time!
