27 Sep A quickie.
My family had a 2 week road trip out east this summer, so I wasn’t sure we’d have much time as a family to do a canoe trip, so I decided to take my 5 & 6 year old children out on my own. We paddled Smoke – Ragged Lake for a couple nights. It was a great experience for us. It empowered my daughter to sit in the bow and she paddled the whole trip. And my son really stepped up his game this year as well, since the winds were pretty high on Smoke Lake, causing me to struggle.
