Fiona Westner-Ramsay is an artist, co-owner of Badger Paddles along with her husband Mike, co-founder of the Paddle in the Park Contest along with her good friend Prestion Ciere, and proud mother of Makobe Ramsay. You can usually find Fiona at the Badger Paddles sett where she does the social media, websites, and marketing for Badger; on top of paddle painting, Fiona helps with the paddle finishing, and teaches her son Makobe as part of his home-based autism intervention behavioural program. If not there, you will probably find her on the water or in the forest. 2015 was Fiona’s first year as an official paddle-hider but not her first year hiding a paddle, having unofficially helped expert guide, Andrea Wilson, hide a special edition “Portage Queen” paddle in 2014. Fiona is back again to hide another paddle this year – another very special edition paddle dedicated to all the Portage Queens “Out There”!
