03 Jul Found: Paddle #4 – Ragged Lake
Our first paddle, hidden by Preston, in the Paddle In The Park Contest has been found by paddler and portageur Lauren Hammond!
Found and Claimed: Paddle #4: BadgerTail WaterColour – Blue.
This BadgerTail WaterColour is a hand-tinted paddle made of ash and given a marine-varnish finish for protection.
Congratulations Lauren! Obviously Lauren already knows there are many rewards to getting outside but she tells us finding a paddle on the portage of Ragged Lake in Algonquin Park was a very unexpected one.
Hi There, I found one of the Badger Paddles on Ragged Lake!
Such an awesome idea and great incentive for people to get out and use the parks!
It was very exciting and unexpected! Thanks a lot!! ~ Lauren
That’s a lot of exclamation marks – which is EXACTLY what we want to see. But even better was seeing that really big smile on Lauren’s beautiful face.
But Lauren does not only get to keep the paddle she found, she has lots of other prizes coming her way now too!
Check out everything Lauren wins below, as well as the prize package that will be up for grabs in the next draw:

Congrats again, Lauren! We’re so happy that you discovered a new reward for getting “Out There”!
