23 Jun Paddle In The Park on CBC Radio
Just this morning, Kevin Callan, our favourite Happy Camper, was on Fresh Air – a CBC Radio Show that airs every Sunday morning. Kevin was, of course, talking about a canoe trip he is about to do. But this canoe trip is no ordinary expedition. Not only is Kevin turning 50 this year, but he has decided to undertake The Meanest Link – a 20-day, 350-km trip around Algonquin Provincial Park named so in honour of the life and legacy of Bill Swift Sr. also known as “Mean Dude”. The route links all of the Algonquin Outfitters stores in and around the park. But that is not all, this trip gets even more extraordinary as Kevin will also be hiding canoe paddles for you to find while he is out there… and he talked about it during his interview. To listen to what Kevin had to say about the Paddle In The Park Contest, you can listen here: Kevin Callan on Fresh Air.
