22 Jul The rain didn’t stop us
While loading the canoe the sun was shining and we thought it was going to be a beautiful day….then part way through the 2nd portage the rain started. It poured and poured and poured, we were in for it. A part of us wanted to turn around and go back but we kept going. I covered over in a tarp with the twins in the canoe and away we went. We stopped at the first free site, got our rain gear on and began to set up camp. It was an amazing trip with the family and the rain only added to the fun.
